    Hi all
    I’ve got a Hotpoint WDPG8640 with an induction motor that intermittently brings up F01.
    I’ve meggered the motor and it reads 550Megg,checked the connections to motor/board both look fine.
    The customer states the fault code usually appears when spinning but has appeared on wash also.
    I suspect the motor is breaking down in use but don’t want to get stuck with one if it’s something else.
    Any Ideas ?

    never known one to go faulty but theres always a 1st prob got a good one in work shop you can try

    I’d suspect the module more than anything,never seen a fault on these motors other than being loud due to wear
