    Hi
When you order the pump, order the rear fan, as you will probably find its bonded itself to the motor shaft and you might have to smash it off.
Check before ordering incase it will pull off, but8 out of 10 its bonded with rust.
As always switch off and disconnect appliance :plug: before undertaking any repairs. If in any doubt of ability, please contact repairs@ for a suitable engineer.

    Hi
when i found the fan was seized i cheated and removed the front of machine and the drum. this gave me a good chance to check it and the bearings and seals and clean out the case and ductwork. fan is definatley seized. i shall get new one with the pump and hopefully get this machine back together and back to customer soon thanks for all your help. 😀

Be careful smashing the fan off as you can easily bend the motor shaft, this results in a very noisy machine.

all sorted now. couldent find a saw or a hammer but used a blowtorch instead. did the job of fan removal easily. got a new pump from a local spares supplier £26.55 + vat fan was around £9. all works well now. thanks for all the helpfull advice.
