    Hey all,

I went out to this machine yesterday and it wasn’t filling correctly and would stop at quite a low level. This seemed to concur with the 3E error a sensor issue. I tested the pressure switch and also you couldn’t hear the diaphragm moving when pressured.

New part arrived today, fitted and fills to a much higher level than before but it still doesn’t seem happy. It will throw the 3E error again during the cycle. I’ve checked the pipe and it’s all clear.

Not really sure what else to try with this one.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers.

    3E is motor error
Also you wont hear the pressure switch click as its a frequency switch not mechanical.
These machines usually have 10 year warranty on the motor

Looks like I got 3E and E3 mixed when I was searching.

I can usually hear the diaphragm, not the mechanical switch because as you said it doesn’t have one. I tested this by doing the same thing with the new one which you can hear in a quiet room.

Id assume there was some sort of blockage then if you believe the switch was fine as it’s filling to the correct level now.

I’ll advise them to get the motor serviced by Samsung.

    Thanks for the quick response
