    Hi,
The problems occuring is it heats ok then stops in mid cycle with six beeps and flashes. This I understand relates to heating.

I believe the problem is related to the relay on the PCB. I have tried to source a relay according to it’s numbers but to no avail. RS components had one in their Singapore branch 🙁 . Rs, Farnel and Mouser are companies I’ve tried.

If there are any ‘geeks’ able to identify an alternative for me it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Laurence

P.C.B generally cures the problem, I never go down to component level by changing relays etc.

Thanks Seamy. The part is big bucks and they don’t want to spend a lot on it.

Try an “Omron G5LE-1-E DC12” – Rs part No: 492-894

It actually has a slightly higher contact current rating which may be useful looking at the burn marks on the end of the old one.
