I have had this ‘Clasixx 6’ machine 3-4 years. It started to leak when washing, gradually getting worse. A local engineer recommended to me by several friends diagnosed a leaky pump which turned out to be a leaking o-ring joint. He could not source a new o-ring so sourced a new pump installed today. The first standard 40C wash washed ok but the machine then stopped and would not go on to its rinse and spin cycles. It will also not select the drain or rinse/spin programmes, drain or release the door lock.

Of the five red LEDs below the Spin symbol on the control panel, the machine flashed the 1200 and 600 lights together indefinitely. Selecting off on the control dial turns off the flashing LEDs; selecting a wash programme again starts the full wash part of the programme, drum rotating correctly each way, water heat on, etc for the correct duration. Then it stops, and won’t start the drain/rinse parts of the programme. Help!

Is there any combination of buttons that does a master nuclear reset in the same way combinations of buttons on my Bosch dishwasher select items like water hardness?

Is it possible a non-genuine Bosch pump installed (cost £40 for parts) is possibly incompatible with the factory electronic controls? I noticed also the machine on the working part of the wash cycle is now much noisier.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Call the engineer back. Must be a faulty pump or connection.
