Hello,
I have a Beko DSC64W that is tripping the mains breakers when it’s turned on.
After reading a little online I decided to disconnect the heating element and this stopped it tripping.
I’ve tested the two coils with r = v x v / p and they are both fine which leaves two possible devices.
They both look like thermostats. One is black and has a red button attached to the back. It shows continuity in normal operation and none when the red button is pulled up.
The other is simular is size and shape (minus the button) and is white in colour. Is shows no continuity and no readings when tested for resistance. It’s makings are as follows: Elth 279 T175
Can some kind and experienced person help me identify this device? My inexperienced research suggests it’s a NTC but I don’t have a clue how I would find a suitable replacement.
Kind Regards,
Lee
