    Hi, I hope someone can advise please? It was working fine yesterday. Today there is no power on the machine. There is no display. The on/off switch makes no difference (& no clicking sounds).
    The door is unlocked. The socket is OK. The plug fuse is OK. The cable looks Ok.
    The cable goes into a mains filter/suppressor – ‘procond electronica 444622431’. There are six spade output connectors on the filter and a plastic connector attaches with 4 wires (live, neutral, 2 x earth).
    1st spade row = neutral, earth, (gap), live;
    2nd spade row = (gap), earth, unused spade, unused spade.
    Using a multimeter – there is continuity: mains plug live to row 1 live;
    mains plug neutral to row 1 neutral;
    plug earth to row 2 earth.
    There is no continuity to the row 1 earth
    This would suggest that the filter is faulty?
    Thanks so much for any help!

    In most cases this is indicative of a failed main pcb. 🙁

    Hi iadom. Thanks so much for your speedy reply! Drat re: main pcb. Do you think I will need to change the mains filter too? Thanks very much.

    Thanks iadom! I was just coming to that conclusion. It’s a shame – it has been a good machine and I like to mend things whenever possible. many thanks. Janet
