    Hi,
Been to this one today dryer not heating.
Reset dryer cut out and all seemed ok but have just had a text from the customer to say its gone again.
I checked to make sure that it was all clean through the dryer assembly and the fan is working ok and it all seemed as good as new. Machine is a few years old but has only had light use for the last 3 years.
One thing I did notice which I thought was a bit strange when I set it on a timed drying program it started to dry as normal and then went into a full blown spin, dryer fan still going but no power to the dryer element. Is this normal for these machines?
Also any pointers on what else could be causing it to keep popping the dryer cut out.

    Cheers,
    Ray

have you had the fan out to check for build up on the blades? Also check the water valve is ok and being energised (might not start for quite a while), also check the ntc in the front duct is not covered in fluff (its easy to pull this out). Have also had “sticking” fan motors that don’t start up without a bump start every once in a while- unless it does it while you are there its hard to prove. Obviously ask the customer about overloading and not turning off before the prog finished.

    Hi,
Thanks for the help with this one.
I didn’t take the fan out the first time I looked at it but went back and had a look and it was surprisingly fluffed up compared to the rest of it which was spotless.
No phone calls since so I am hoping it’s done the job.

    Cheers,
    Ray
