    LG door problem
symptom 4 clicks of door interlock then display screen shows
(The door is open please close the door completely) no fault code appears I have replaced the interlock but the machine displays the same fault, the machine occasionally starts up ok and it also did this with the original interlock.
There is no wear on the door latch hook, door is not sagging or damaged has anybody any ideas on this one?
    Cheers

    Hi..
I would recommend you remove the front panel and check the wires. Have come across a few of these. The drum rubs against the loom from the top to the bottom on the right hand side by the door lock.

    Hi thanks for that tip
I got to the bottom of this problem eventually the door hook that enters the interlock was catching the plastic edge of the door frame preventing it from pushing the interlock slider in fully.
I filed a sliver of the outer side of the hole with a needle file and it solved the problem the hook is under a lot of pressure with the spring behind it maybe the pin it pivots on had been slightly bent.
