Does anyone know where (if it is possible at all) to purchase a complete door for the above. Both sets of glass are in tact but the door will not shut and I think it’s a problem with the hinges.

    Thanks
    Deb

I’ve just had an email sent to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk from someone asking exactly the same question but with a different email address Deb, is this a coincidence ?

If it is, I’ll answer the same.

I’ll need the full model number beginning APL or AHY from the rating plate to identify as the whole door cannot be purchased, all the parts are individual.

Re: Complete door for a Diplomat Select 620 oven

I have a very similar problem as well, I’ve seen another post on the subject where the problem seems identical to mine. An eyelet on each hinge that connects to the spring mechanism has stretched and opened up meaning the spring on the hinge can no longer connect.
The hinges seem to have a brand name on them but I’m not sure I can remember it properly, I think it’s something like Nuovo Star and there was also quite a large E stamped on there so maybe this is a model code.
If these parts are available they are very simple to detach/attach.

Yes, I can get them Bill but the same applies. Select 620 isn’t the model just a range of ovens.

APL AHY etc … please. Check around the door, if not it’s on the top of the oven itself which invloves sliding the oven out of it’s housing slightly.

    Dave.
