    Hi,

    I’ve just had a customer on the phone regarding her Bosch dishwasher SMV50C00GB/03 FD9201.
    She says it runs for about 5 seconds and then flashes and beeps at her. It doesn’t have a digital display so no F or E codes for her to tell me. She says she has already had a guy out for about 3 hours who gave up on it. He swapped the pump, which to be honest is always the first port of call with this new BSH machine.

    How do you recognise the fault codes on these machines with no display.
    If anybody can point me in the right direction, or if anybody has a manual it would really be appreciated. I’m going to take a look tomorrow.

    Does it bring on the check water light?
    If it drains ok. Then try the flow meter in the side tank.
    Other than that look at the door locking side of things. Sometimes if its the door, opening and closing it every 10 seconds until you here the water valve open can prove door or door hinge issues.

    Thanks for your help Tim. Yeah I’ve done lots of flow meters and pump on these and a couple of door locks but I was just wondering how you assertain the fault codes on these machines without it being a bit of guess work or trial and error.
