    Hi,

I am getting error code E09 on my Beko WMB61431. I have searched the site and see the error code E9 for the WMA series indicates a fault with the door lock. I have replaced the lock with a new one from espares and also checked the wiring, cleared the filters etc… but still I am getting the error code.
The method to clear the error code on Beko washers (holding start/pause for 5 seconds) doesn’t seem to work on this machine.
Does anybody have any ideas what I can do – it is frustrating as there is nothing wrong with the machine other than the door will not lock and technically it doesn’t need to in order to wash clothes! My other question would then be is there anyway to override the door lock, I promise I won’t open the door mid cycle! 😆

Don’t think you will get much help with a stupid statement like that, the interlock is a safety device, not to be overridden.
Now hows about getting someone with knowledge of what they are doing to look at it, see if it can be safely repaired.

Er technically and for safety reasons it does have to lock. If you’re competent (not too sure) a door lock is easy to replace
