    Smeg SE375mfx Oven.
    Where’s the fan element ?. Do they use the grill or the main oven element for this.
    We only repair the occasional oven and have not come across this.

    Hi. I have had a quick look and no one seems to supply a fan oven element. Just top and bottom. I have seen these before with just a fan in the back but can not remember if it was a smeg

    not at unusual, although always a surprise when you remove the panel and there isn’t one there. Whirlpool and Indesit also have/had fan ovens in there range like this.

    I have seen this happened to me a while back. It was a surprise and rather frustrating as it burst your bubble thinking it was going to be a nice easy job.
