    Hi

    On the odd occasion (perhaps 1 out of every 10 washes), the machine makes a really loud metallic clanging noise during the very last minute of the 1600 spin cycle. It sounds like loose ball bearings in the drum. There are no error messages and the machine runs perfectly. What could the problem be?

    Bearings or cracked inner drum support shaft?

    If so, what would cause this to happen? What is the rough cost to repair – or is it time to replace?
