    Its actually a Creda in disguise
    Customer complaint when she operates the halogen ring only the halogen works ,So I ordered ring went to fit today also replaced regulator but still have the same fault i.e only the halogen outer ring is working yet yet both inner and outer elements sher the same supply ,What am I missing here ??

    Nothing, the inner heater is working you just can’t tell as the halogen lamp is so bright. Been there done that one, so has Kev 😆

    Hi Lawrence
    The halogen bulb creates the fast heat needed for cooking. The normal ring should only come on very faintly when the halogen has died down just to keep the output temperature ticking over. You will be able to see this slight glow from the element. 😉

    I`ve had that one as well.After I fitted new ring customer said it was working better than ever but on close inspection of original there was nothing wrong with it.Thankfully she paid the bill and I was off. 😆

    I Bl**dy knew it ,But she just wouldnt have it !! She was adament that both glow cherry red .

    yes i agree you cant see it when the halogen is on but you will see it gloeing when you turn it off if you watch it carefully
