The site may be slow tonight between about 22:00 and roughly 01:00 as we’re starting a facelift of the site.

Believe it or not, it’s five years since the last one!

All should work as normal but it may go a bit slow however, we hope that this will also fix a few other issues along the ways.

    Re: Site Upgrades

Just so as you know, over the next week or two we will be upgrading yet more of the site.

Some of it is relatively straightforward and some rather more involved and at times there may be outages for short periods or the site may run slow for a bit.

The store we’ve upgraded already, that was the bit above.

Next will be the main content side and finally the forums.

Most of the work should happen through the night or late on so, it shouldn’t affect too many people that badly if at all but, just in case this is the heads up on it.

Basic functionality will not change however there will be a totally new look and the changes to the base system allow us to move forward with other things, such as deeper integration with other systems and such.

What have you done to the mobile side of the site. Its really bad and hard to navigate now.

    How do you mean?

The layout now changes dynamically in line with the stuff set by Google etc. So it should be easier as it’s now all mobile friendly other than some weird bits of the stylesheet.

Not yet, it’s a hassle and has to be done through the night.
