    The hob ignition activates randomly by itself, how do I stop/fix it ?

    Probably the ignition generator that’s at fault so, replace it.

    Hi

    More likely that you’ve spilt or used excessive water when cleaning and the ignition switch or switches are soaked. turn off the electric and leave to dry out naturally over a few days. If it still continues then it will be the switch themselves that will need replacing.
