have removed and cleaned all the pcb connections etc and upon re assembly the unit worked perfectly as it should, with water coming in on the first rinse on each program for approx 5 minutes, then beeped and stopped and gave an e5 error – according to mfi this means cant take in water – open the door and there is water in the bottom of unit, close door select p0 program and unit then drains,
sounds very much like a blocked pressure system (the bit that detects the water level)…it will probably just require cleaning out but not a job for the fainthearted. Time for an engineer?
Just an afterthought…do you mean it takes 5 minutes to take the water on board????
no – the program starts straight away and the unit starts its various fills of water for what i presume to be the rinse stage of the cycle, after about 5 minutes of circulation it just beeps and stops and of course all the water is left in it???
change to p0 program and water then empties, can the pressure system be reset to check if this is the problem?
It’s a blockage by the sounds of it in the air break.
As Clive says, not a DIY job really, if you are going to have a look, pull the plug :zap: but I would advise an engineer, try repairs@ and the directories.
