    Hi,
I have a Liebherr frost free freezer, model GNP 3376, and Service No. 9987668-08.
For the past eighteen months, I have been experiencing problems with the evaporator module freezing up every 3-4 months, and the freezer then losing temperature, going from -18 to about -10, with the alarm going off.
If I remove all food stuff and leave the freezer off to defrost fully, it will work fine for a few months. The last time this happened I removed the evaporator module, enabling the fan to be checked, which worked o.k. Also I was able, using the engineers mode, to force a defrost cycle, and the defrost heater works.
I think that the evaporator sensor located within the fins, in front of the fan may be at fault. There does not appear to be any identification marks on this, so am unsure of what to order.
Any help regarding this issue, and to the spares needed would be greatly appreciated.
There are no fault codes showing on the display when this happens.

hello, you wont get a fault code for the sensor unless the sensor goes open circuit, in which case you’d get F4 on the display.
the sensor is the most likely option, given what you’re experiencing.
the part number you require is 9590148.
it’s an easy fix, done inside the cabinet using heat shrink material.
    hope that helps.

    Hi Eldar59,

Thanks for the reply, it was knowing which sensor to order. I will now get one using the part No. supplied, fit it and hope my fault is sorted. Will post results once tested, might be of use to someone else.
