Hi folks, in need of a bit of advice.
my issue is that when i turn on the fan oven and set to lets say 200C the oven will heat up as normal and when gets to 200 you hear the click of thermostat and oven light on front of cooker goes off to show its up to temperature. At this point though the oven just keeps heating up to the point that the thermo saftey switch kicks in and turns whole cooker off.
The cooker comes back on once the temperature has dropped to within a safe temp and everything still functions but the fan oven is just constantly heating when switched on.any ideas on this one? I was thinking thermostat but it seems to work as it clicks when oven reaches desired temp and oven light goes off.
any help would be greatly appreciated 😀 😀

Ive had this in the past where the fan element is actually shorting out usually by the spade connections at the back and as earth and neutral are connected it is possible for it to heat up. If this is the case you need to get the house/installation checked as it should of blown a fuse or tripped the RCD if you have one fitted.
