Rattle sound in drain filter unit in front of machine no objects sounds like button hitting the spindle that goes round the drain filter just happens on emptying, I’ve emptied through drain front filter panel at front and about 6 times now and no objects but rattle still there when emptying. I’m very careful when emptying his pockets but of course a button could come off in the wash.
Could it be behind the pump? But sounds like it’s in the system as every wash tried it’s still there so again I drain all off including excess through the tube thingy in the drain filter inside flap but no flipping button or anything! !
Hubby is very engineerey so no doubt he’ll want to take it apart rather than pay someone a 10 year Warrany is worthless. Any thoughts would be lovely. Thx

Thx Martin no joy. Mr probably gonna blow down the pipe. Unless you have a any other thoughts. Oh by the way thanks for understanding my explanation lol. S

Not really short of taking the pump right out. Video only by YouTube link. Besides we get the idea about the noise you describe and only closer intervention will find the problem.

Try moving the pump impeller blade from side to side to see if there’s play in the bearing.
