Hi,
Our Bosch WVD24520GB/01 seems to no longer want to spin. It tries to spin and you can here some sort of relay clicking but the drum does not move. Also when you try and use it in this state the lcd panel seems to get stuck then when you turn it off and on again you just get the orange backlight and no lcd digits, the only way to get out of this situation is by using the dial 6 then 7 seven reset method which lets you set a program again. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, I have already removed an old sock from the bit just before the filter (the bit with the ball in) and the drain pump appears to be working ok.

No that was the next thing I was going to check, to do this I really need to remove the motor right? It seems a pain to get to as only the top and front come off the machine not the sides or back. Would it be possible to tip it back/forwards and remove the motor from underneath?

Ok I’m going to take it apart again in a moment to check the brushes, is there anything else I should check whilst I have it in bits?
