    Got home yesterday to an RCB tripped in fusebox, isolated problem to washing machine, its alright to switch on but when it tries to spin(tested) it trips again, any ideas on how to cure this fault

    Check out the motor, especially the brushes.

    Its a brushless system, have checked all earth wire for chafing and couldnt and see anything, think motor is possibly spiking but not sure how to test it with a tester
