    I have a gusto oven and the right hand rear hob will not stay alight when trying to light the gas. Any ideas what the issue is and which part might be required

    Model no is ekm90460x

    Faulty FSD?

    A word of caution here: Gas appliances are NOT something DIY’ers should mess with. Clearly from the question it is fair to conclude you are not qualified to attempt to repair the appliance. Therefore I urge you to seek professional help for your own safety.

    Only looking so I can get an idea of the parts required. I will certainly be getting someone in to fit and service the cooker

    897 looks to be the gas supply pipe. It’s not that.

    Thermocouple. 1st & top choice.

    If you don’t know what that is, it’s time to get someone that does.

    If you do, you need the full product code or PNC from the rating plate to ensure you get the correct one. If not, there’s a real danger you get the wrong one. That’s not good and won’t end well.
