    Hello,

Did have a browse through the forums but failed to find the answer – almost certainly user error. Anyway, if someone can help I’d be very grateful.
I have a dead whirlpool awe6517 toploader. Specifically, 859365115070, as i understand there have been a few versions. Worked fine since bought new in 2007, today dead. fuse in plug is fine, got power into the suppressor, but no lights anywhere on the control panel. done the obvious stuff (checked for broken wires, removed and re-connected all plug connectors, no result. I think perhaps the suppressor may be faulty but not sure how to test. Also have not been able to find a suppressor to same spec for sale. lots that look similar but none matching the code number I have, 58106000184.

Hoping there’s a helpful soul out there somewhere 🙂

    thanks,

the supressor only feeds the power through itself. if you get a multimeter with a buzzer to check for continuity you can buzz through the wires from the plug
when you say you have power in the supressor what do you mean ?

you should have a live and neutral ie one dead one one live one ( 2 of each for a 4 wire supressor)
as long as you have a live and neutral going to the board it must be the fault. it may be able to be fixed but it depends on fault but you need an electronics expert to diagnose it
