    Hotpoint FFA97.
I need to replace a top freezer drawer for this fridge freezer (145mm), but ask if anyone has experience of using a 160mm drawer at the top? In other words replace 145 with 160, plus another 160 immediately below it?

It looks like it will fit, but are there any other issues?

    Think the part numbers are:
    145mm C00112968
    160mm C00112967

Has anyone had the same problem as me, that the end stops snap off after a few years?

    Thanks for any advice.

If you’ve got the 160mm one can you not try that in the 145mm position?

I wouldn’t have thought they’d be interchangeable though, they usually aren’t.

    Hi kwatt,
    Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have tried the 160 in the top position and there’s still a gap underneath, albeit slightly smaller.
I rang Hotpoint to ask, but they couldn’t comment! Only mention was ‘airflow’ (it’s a frost-free freezer with blown air).
For some mad reason, the 160 is cheaper than the 145 size! Plus I get more storage.
Or, as another posted on a review – “a lot of money for a piece of plastic”!

All plastic drawer are expensive and, expensive to ship also if you want it to get there in one piece.

Yeah, if it’s blowing air over there then that may well be the reason for the shorter height so, I wouldn’t recommend altering it.
