Hi,
I have a Zanussi ZWT71201WA machine and am receiving error code E20. I’ve checked and cleaned the filter and there aren’t any ‘kinks’ in the drainage hose (these are the two manual recommendations).
The machine can happily spin on the spin setting and drain on the drain setting – but any normal full mode setting (e.g. Cotton 30 degrees) brings up the E20 code and the washing is left soaking with some water still in the tub.
Just had my landlord’s maintenance guy round and he says buy a new machine – but it seems like an error that could easily be resolved to me! He didn’t do anything further than myself. I feel like we should at least be checking the drainage hose. The only difficultly is the machine is in an awkward location – I’m not sure I want to pull it out in case I can’t get it back in!
Never done any plumbing or even really have much knowledge (my first flat) but fast learner, good with thing’s like this, and enjoy resolving problems myself! Any advice much appreciated!
