Re: Can’t get front of Bosch off for seal replacement
Right as it happens you don’t need to take the front off to replace the door seal ….local shop wasn’t convinced it was the door seal
so I re fitted the seal upside-down (with the drain holes at the top instead of the bottom) and got the same leak so its not the door seal.
all the pipes look fine and don’t appear to be leaking in any place
I have filled the machine with some water and tilted it forward
and the leak is dripping from the middle of the drum itself
only place it come be really coming from is the element that I can’t get at because I can’t get the front casing off or the drum is cracked somewhere.
History.
Machine was working fine and still is other than the leak.
the other night I put a load on that was either overloaded or badly balanced and the machine started banging like crazy as it was spinning and thats when the leak started.
