ParticipantI have INDESIT model WIE147, The fault i have does not happen till it is near the end of the wash cycle, all works fine until it gets to the spin section, it starts the spin for about 10 seconds, building up speed, then stops, slows to a stop, flashes the word END for about one second and then shows an error code f-08. It goes through the normal wash, fills with water, drum rotates washes, water drains, but about the last 15 mins of the cycle fails, anyone have any ideas please. ?

Ok, but can anyone pin point the fault, something has to be the fault ? something must be able to be replaced and make it work again, regardless of cost, ??

That is just it, the error code relates to several faults and no one fix cures it first time.
The cost of a new circuit board which is one of the most common causes is more than the machine is worth. You could start by tightening all the flimsy connections between the circuit board and the heater/ntc. then test the heater for insulation faults. Then change the pressure switch, then change the main circuit board, then …………. 😮

Just an up date for those that may wish to know, I tested most parts using my multimeter, eg, motor, heater, ntc thermistor, pressure switch, could not come up any faults, my thought was the main module, but i was unsure, and was not going to spend over £100 on a new one just to try it. I was 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it was the module from the tests, so i looked on ebay, could not see one for WIE147, but did see one for WIE167 at £29, because i was 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it was the module, i took a chance on this part, as the only difference in the 2 machines is the spin speed, (167 is 1600rpm and 147 is 1400rpm). Part arrived yesterday, i fitted it today, and bingo, all back fully working, no faults, no F-08 fault. I have done 2 complete wash loads today, all back to normal, cost £29, Cheers.
