Hi,
We are in the process of trying to replace our integrated NEFF fridge freezer which has a fixed door hinge. Realised that most appliances around the £300 mark were sliding door hinged, with the fixed door equivalents all starting at £650+. Can anyone tell me whether you can change from a fixed door hinge to a sliding door hinge. Just trying to save a bit of cash before Christmas but don’t want to buy the wrong thing. I’ve been asked this several times recently and I think I know why now, the cost difference.
The short answer is, no you cannot do that I’m afraid.
The cabinets and doors are setup to use one or the other system and they are completely not interchangeable in any way whatsoever.
If you need the fixed door type I’m afraid you’re stuck with the higher cost.
