First post here so be gentle, do we go for a cheap indesit for 170 pounds or should we spend more.

    Re: Value condenser dryer

    Hi

I would go for either the Beko or White Knight condensers in light of the recall on Hotpoint and Indesit dryers http://safety.hotpoint.eu/. In time existing dealer stock will be modified or replaced as decided by the retailer. Good stock of dryers should have a green sticker on the rear alongside the model details label.

If you have provision to vent I would go for a vented model any
day, again the White Knight is always a good bet.

    HTH 🙂

Can’t vent, good point in the recall too
Also found a candy that takes 9kg, for not much more.

You could also buy the hotpoint, indesit, creda, proline and they all supply heating for your house 😕

Not the sort of heat you really want though. :eeek:

You’ve just missed bonfire night so Indesit/Hotpoint is out of the question. So Beko is indeed your only option.

Went for the beko 8kg from John Lewis on the end. Despite good reviews could not find the bigger load white kknight hardly anywhere other than direct.
