I think the thermostat of my cooker is broken, as the cookers flames do not reduce after a period of time, its as if its on gm9 all the time. I assume i need the rating plate info to attain a replacement thermostat, but i can’t find it, i’ve looked inside the oven door, all around the back of the cooker to no avail?? the only stickers i can find refer to “passed inspection, model 60 sig” on the back??
    regards

Inside the warming drawer if there is one perhaps ?

Don’t forget as this is a gas appliance you will need a Corgi registered engineer to fit the thermostat for you so it may be wise to ask one to come and identify the thermostat before ordering.

    hi Dave,
yep…i wouldn’t atempt to install the part my self, gas or electrics scare the crap out of me, but if i could source the part first, it may well save me some cash!

I’m still unable to find a rating plate….had the thing un its back and looked all over…BUT i have found the manual, and it has the following info ( also found out this is a refurbished cooker, so dont know if the info is valid)
    Model 016659
    serial no. 98120065

    thanks
    Ian

It won’t be any diffferent wherever you get it, an engineer will only charge the normal ssp 😉
