    Hi,
We have a Siemens dw sn25m231gb/07.
How is the water level controlled? Is there a pressure switch or a flow meter? We haven’t found any sign of either on a diagram.
    Thanks.

Flowmeter in the fill matrix. With a reed switch that often goes dickie.

Referred to in parts lists as jug impeller.

Although having said that and looking at diagram, it looks like the older type that was metered using water level, floats and microswitch system. The tubes get blocked causing overflow to base and activating anti-flood. Hose from metering tank to sump prone to gathering greasy gunk over time.

I refer to my earlier post. The model in question has the flow meter as part of the fill matrix. The reed switch clips into that matrix and can be a regular component that fails.

Thanks for the replies but weren’t able to find either from diagram or list of parts.

The Reed switch is called a ‘contact’ and is shown as part of the water inlet/heat exchanger on the LHS.
