Thanks to Dave Conway for his advice re the problem with my cooker. I told hubby this info and as he is a moderately skilfull DIY-er, he is adamant that he wants to do this repair himself. 😯 😯 😯 He has already dismantled the oven this afternoon to see what the job entails, it took him ages to get the stay clean linings back in – it doesn’t fill me full of confidence.
Has anyone ever replaced one of these element things (even on a different cooker)? If so are there any tips you could give me as I have my reservations about him doing it.
Given that I am not going to be able to persuade him otherwise, do I get the part from Creda?
Please help me before I end up having to buy a new cooker (or get a new hubby!!)
