Hi,
I have a Hotpoint Dishwasher with the model number FDF780.
The dishwasher’s start/pause button led is flashing , this light never flashed before. When you select a programme and press start the light turns solid green like it is supposed to do , but the dishwasher does not do anything like take in water etc.
This problem started randomly today?

Need to make your pictures a bit smaller. 😉
When the stat/pause button flashes that means it is in error mode. however it should also flash up an error code in the display window. Without know what any error code is we have very little idea what the problem is.
you can do a reset by switching of at the mains or removing the plug, wait at least 30 seconds then try again, leave it ‘running’ for a while to see if an error message flags up.

No error messages appear , i will try running it for a while and see what happens.
Is there any other way of getting access to the error message?
