    I’m used to the complaints of smelly washing machines but I had a call from a customer regarding the above heat pump tumble dryer smelling of dirty drains.

    I am assuming this may be caused by bacteria as with washing machines but have not come across this problem with a tumble dryer before.

    Can anyone confirm if this is likely to be due to bacteria and what can be done to get rid of the smell as recommending the hottest awash with detergent isn’t going to work?

    A call round to take off the panels and look for cooking rodents on the compressor?

    Nice.
    I’ve got to go round and fit a door seal on their washing machine next week so will take a look at that at the same time.
