    Hi, i have a Zanussi ZDV12001FA, its only around 6 months old, the compartment which you put the washing tablet in wont open during a wash any more.

    If i let it run through a whole cycle it will still be closed when its complete and the tablet still incide.

    the spring in the compartment seems fine, if i press the button the open the compartment it releases and opens fine.

    I was hoping it may be something i can try and fix myself, is there anything you can think of?

    I wouldn’t go trying to fix it yourself as you may invalidate your guarantee, instead phone Service Force on 0330 333 3725 who will arrange to send an engineer out. Have the model and serial number to hand when you phone.
