Indesit w93

My Indesit w93 has started to act up. When placed on any wash cycle it will either start as normal then begin to click its dial through all the programs then stop at a random time and programme. Other times it will wash but fail to rinse and/or drain.

Does this have anything to do with the drainage from the machine or is it something that requires an expensive repair.

When I asked a local repair firm they looked at me as if I was a plague carrier for asking about an indesit ❓
