Hi Anyone with any idea on this problem/fault? please. The pump that drains the water from the washer doe’s not stop pumping even though there is no water left to pump out.! Thanks

For some reason, I’d presume, that the machine hasn’t detected that it’s empty already.

Pressure system being possibly blocked would be the first thing to look at.

It’s a case of stripping out the base I’d imagine but I’m not familiar with that machine.

Ok I will give it a try, if I can remove it from where it is. IE it is built in with all the other Kitchen appliances. Thanks again.

Hi I am still trying to fix the dishwasher, waiting on friend to arrive to help pull it out from the rest of appliances.

May leave it until after Christmas now as it is so close.

If it’s blocked, that won’t change till it’s unblocked. 😉

The drain pump is probably fine and not blocked at all. What is more likely is water in the base. Tipping it forward to drain off the water in that base is a no no hence the current problem.

This DIY started out badly compounded further by it being a built in machine. Indeed it has to come out to fix whatever is wrong. But I would advise caution and start by ensuring it is disconnected from the mains supply first and foremost.

I suspect it has an internal leak that is causing the anti-flood device to operate. A little careful surgery is required from now on in and don’t ever tip it forward, or sideways either in future. :plug:

Thanks for the info Martin. Will have to leave it till the New Year now. I am unable to do it my self as I am severely disabled, I may have to get an Engineer to come out and sort the problem/s/? Thanks everyone for your response.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
