KeymasterHi all
I refer to the latest e mail correspondence from JTM/0800 repairs stating that they will refuse and not pay for ANY job that is invoiced with out a photograph of the rating plate and this includes gas hobs and integrated appliances.I feel that this is unacceptable and they are trying to make the job harder for the engineers and delay payment.
I have had it clarified from Cata that they will accept the completed job invoices without this demand and can be noted that the serial number / rating plate is not accessible.
If any engineers get invoices rejected by JTM/0800 repair then I can and will supply the confirmation from Cata that they will accept and pay job invoices where to access the rating plate you need to remove another appliance to gain access the information.

they have updated that though:
Photographs of the rating plate will not be expected if:
The appliance is integrated and would need to be removed in order to access the serial number only.
The rating plate has been removed or has worn off. In those circumstances a photo showing where the rating plate has been/should be will suffice.January 9, 2016 at 8:13 am #433770simon26r

I have been to many cata machines that dont have a rating plate. So i just send a photo of the appliance and say you find it.. good luck.

They accept my photos or I stop working – not may other people will put up with pointless calls – wrong address – wrong contact numbers – parts that take months. Should I stop. Ooops. Poor rates for bad built in appliance (dw’s with broken feet)
