    I have just replaced the motor in my ducted extractor hood but like the motor that I replaced, the unit is blowing out air from both sides and I can’t work out why. There is very little suction. Should the motor blow out air or suck it in? (I know this seems like a daft question but I’m confused!)

    It should draw air in from below, above the cooking area.

    A blockage in the vent out could cause that to happen.
