The fridge part of the fridge freezer is freezing the food. I have moved things around and cleared it down to ensure it is not over full and items with a high water content are not at the back. A fridge thermometer has been put in too.

Any ideas what to do next?

    Hello!
So what is the temperature on that Thermometer?
    How old is appliance?

Appliance is approximately 3 years old.

When we set the appliance to 4 degrees C the little thermometer would read minus 3 degrees C. After adjusting the temp setting a bit we settled at 5 degrees C and in the morning the little thermometer read 5 degrees C too. But since we’ve used it today it’s started freezing again so we’ve upped the setting.

    Thanks.

All you can do is get an expert from this site in your local area
The temperature is controlled electronically by a sensor that relays the information to a control unit that switches the cold off
That system is clearly failing so either a sensor or control unit or even both!
An Engineer will test these for you
