    Hello
    We have an LG TD/C70040E which has developed a fault.
    The dryer will power up but as soon as I press the start button the motor jumps like it wants to start but then just buzzes.
    I can see the heating element glowing red hot (too hot) so I presumed it would be a faulty thermostat.
    I bought a new one and replaced it but the problem is still the same.
    Any ideas?

    Replaced the thermostat and capacitor and its still the same.
    Tried giving the drum a helping hand to see if it would run but it doesn’t.
    The motor is not seized and turns freely.
    Any ideas guys?
