    Hello,
Wondered if anyone could shed some light on this.
We have changed the main oven door hinges on a Smeg DUCO8CBL double oven and the door wont stay horizontal. It springs back shut.
We have used genuine Smeg parts and they are exactly the same as the old ones.
Any advise as to what the issue may be?
    Many thanks

have you rang your supplier of the spare parts to check they are correct

plus i assume the oven door inner glass is fitted

Should be part no 931331072 for main oven hinges
And also are all glasses in place as it can make quite a difference

Have checked all of the above, parts correct and door glass fitted. Oven door is correctly aligned etc. Spoke to Servevast and they said it’s just because hinges are new but we’ve never known them be that ‘springy’! Just wondered if anyone has experienced the same problem.
