Leisure dual circuit ring half working

Hi all…I just bought a graded second and am thrilled with it…apart from the dual circuit element. Only the centre works. If its just a wiring problem I’d rather get it fixed than go through the hassle of sending it back and being without a cooker for a while…thanks for reading.
