I’m wondering if anyone can confirm something for me. The instructions for this oven list the symbols and their meaning, there is a picture of just a fan and also a picture of a fan with a circle around it. The setting with just the fan doesn’t provide any heat, it literally just turns on the fan, is this correct? I was under the impression that this would be a fan oven setting and the one with the circle around was a turbo fan oven setting. The page detailing temperatures and approximate cooking times seems to only show the one with the circle around, so I’m beginning to suspect that this is the only actual oven setting. The manual just says “Fan only” for the first symbol. What is the purpose of this setting if it’s just the fan? I’ve attached a photo to illustrate. Thanks in advance.

Yes the sign without the ring on the outside is just the fan.

The only reason I would think they have this setting is so you can cool it down quicker after use and to help the fan oven element cool down to extend its life.
