    Hello,
I would appreciate help with this washer-drier from 1991.
Does anyone have a parts list or exploded view of the machine so that I can identify which particular part I need to replace.
At present, the drier function is heating the incoming air excessively and it’s cooking the clothes.
There is a two-terminal t’stat in the air conveyor, near the heater and fan, which I suspect is short-cct. I will not know its rating until I open the cabinet once more to test it.
Also, are there any other t’stats in the drier cct. as I understand there will be a safety t’stat and a cycling t’stat?

    Thanks.

That model was issued with a safety modification on the dryer element unit. It involved cutting into the silver paper insulation and installing new thermostats and a bracket.

    Thanks PaulG,
I had heard that they were prone to overheating with so much kit inside the cabinet. No evidence of a modification on this machine however.
Have you any idea where I could get a parts list or diagram from?

    Regards,

I don’t, sorry. But I vividly remember the modification.
