    Hi
    Have a 3 year old Hoover. On the wash programmes it starts to fill with water for about 30 seconds then stops. The minute countdown on the display carries on counting down, but no washing takes place. I am able to drain the water out. I get no error messages.
    Can anyone suggest anything?

    if machine has motor brushes check them although if it is 3 years old they should not have failed unless you wash for the whole street

    Good call. Brushes had gone( or should I say one of them has). Anyway pair replaced, and now washing again!
