    My upright Electrolux Upright Cleaner does not seem to be picking up. The pipe works ok but the actual cleaner does not. When the pipe is plugged into the cleaner is this the only suction/pick-up point? Or should the there be another suction point on the actual bottom of the cleaner?

    You didn’t give us the model number as there’s 100’s of different ones but first, have you checked that the roller brush still rotates? If not the belt has come off or snapped.

    Hi I think its a Electrolux z161 upright vacuum cleaner. Should the brush rotate itself when switched on?

    You might want to get the full model number and its PNc number as a Z161 comes up as a cylinder vac OR a fridge ??
