ParticipantWhere, if anywhere, do you guys find manufacturers information/part numbers etc.
When I worked with Scottish Gas, even they found it difficult. When I worked with the Electricity Board, they paid … I think, the Electricity Council for all the info on microfisch.
Just shows how long ago that was. I still have books of microfisches.January 29, 2016 at 12:46 pm #434856Martin

I believe the wholesaler Connect (aka CDSL) have a facility on their website to access certain manufactures exploded parts diagrams. ( at least they did do at one time but not being an account holder myself I’m not certain)
Bosch/Siemens/Neff stuff all available on line.
Beko, Hoover, Electrolux all available via direct account with each.
Indesit, Hotpoint, Whirlpool the biggest rip-off merchants charge a 6 monthly fee for access to their parts lists. As for the rest, too much aggro so I can’t be bothered fixing them.

There is access if you are a Repaircare agent. But it is now just the low volumes ones that are available like White Knight (available online), Caple, Kenwood, Daewoo, Rangemaster and Hoover Candy.

The Indesit/Hotpoint Partfinder DVD is can be ordered from the Whirlpool (ex Indesit) trade spares team, £55+VAT for the 6 months ending March 2016. You don’t need to be an account holder or contractor to get it. I don’t have the direct trade spares phone number but you could try ringing the consumer sprares line on 03448 116999 and ask for the trade spares team.
As of last year, it was also possible to subscribe to the Whirlpool WeDoc online service through the old Whirlpool trade spares team, now disbanded, £120+VAT per calendar year. Again, no account or contract was required to subscribe to this. I haven’t heard about this year’s renewal but at the moment still have access.
